Jody Young – Weight Loss Counselor
Jody has been instrumental in developing and growing The Junior Weigh program. Jody has a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and joined Jacksonville Weight Loss Center after gaining extensive experience working for Metabolic Research and A New Weigh weight loss programs. Jody’s passion to resolve childhood obesity and her compassion for overweight adolescents makes her a vital member of the Junior Weigh team. The guidance Jody provides to all patients and their families helps her patients achieve and maintain their weight loss goals. Jody works closely with our physicians in the pre-operative stages and conducts the physician-supervised weight loss program visits required. Finally, Jody is the clinical coordinator of our FDA adolescent LAP-BAND® study and coordinates all of the patients’ visits.
